This Privacy Policy applies to Green Turtle Technologies, doing business as Green Turtle Tech (“Green Turtle Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), and to greenturtletechnologies.com, the Green Turtle Tech Member Portal, enrollment pages, support requests, and related services. It does not replace a separate notice that appears on a third-party service such as Stripe, Microsoft, or a communications provider.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on what you request, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, service or billing address, business details, account identifiers, support-ticket messages, attachments, appointment details, and other information you choose to provide. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, authentication codes, cryptocurrency keys, or other secrets in a support message.
Payment and membership information
Payments and checkout are handled by Stripe. We receive limited transaction and customer details needed to identify a purchase, provide the Member Portal, manage billing, and reconcile our records. Stripe may collect and process payment-card and identity information under its own privacy notice and terms.
Device, usage, and communications information
When you visit the website or use the portal, our hosting and security systems may receive IP address, browser and device type, operating-system information, approximate location derived from IP, referral pages, timestamps, pages viewed, and security logs. We also receive the content and metadata of messages, forms, emails, texts, and support interactions sent to us.
Analytics and cookies
We use Microsoft Clarity and related website analytics to understand navigation, performance, and usability. These tools may use cookies or similar storage and may record session interactions, clicks, scrolling, device information, and diagnostic events. We configure forms and sensitive fields to be masked where supported and do not intentionally ask analytics tools to record payment-card numbers, passwords, or authentication codes. Your browser can limit cookies, but some site functions may not work as intended.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website, Member Portal, support, enrollment, hosting, and business services.
- Identify customers and purchases, process billing through Stripe, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect people and systems.
- Respond to inquiries, schedule or perform requested work, send service, account, billing, security, and legal notices, and keep records of requests and consent.
- Measure site performance, diagnose errors, improve content and workflows, and develop or evaluate internal tools.
- Send optional marketing messages only when we have the consent required by law and provide an easy way to opt out.
- Comply with law, lawful requests, court orders, and professional or insurance requirements, and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. AI-assisted tools and automated processing
We may use AI-assisted tools in internal operations and service delivery—for example, to help draft or organize content, categorize or summarize support requests, suggest troubleshooting steps, improve workflows, or analyze website usability. An AI output can be incomplete or wrong. A person remains responsible for reviewing important customer communications, recommendations, and service decisions.
We do not use AI to make decisions about credit, insurance, employment, housing, or access to essential services. We do not intentionally submit payment-card numbers, passwords, authentication codes, or other unnecessary sensitive information to an AI tool. When a third-party AI provider is used, it may process submitted information under its terms and our instructions; we limit inputs to what is reasonably needed and use configurations intended to limit retention or model-training use where available. We will update this policy and seek any consent required by law before using personal information for a materially different AI purpose.
4. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that process it for us, such as Stripe for payments and customer records; Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and other hosting or cloud providers; email, SMS, phone, ticketing, security, and remote-support providers; website analytics providers such as Microsoft Clarity; optional AI processing for minimized inbound support-message triage when enabled; contractors who need the information to perform authorized work; and professional advisers. These providers are expected to use information for the services they provide to us, not for their own unrelated advertising.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse or fraud, or support a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information and do not currently use it for targeted advertising.
5. Email, phone, and text-message choices
Service and transactional messages
When you request support, enroll, make a purchase, submit an inquiry, or provide contact information for a service, you authorize us to contact you by email, phone, or text as reasonably necessary to respond to that request and provide related account, support, billing, security, scheduling, renewal, or legal information. These service messages are not marketing messages and may continue when needed to provide a requested service or protect your account.
Optional marketing messages
We will send marketing emails or marketing texts only after a separate, clear affirmative opt-in where required. Marketing text consent is not a condition of purchase. If you opt in to texts, message and data rates may apply and message frequency may vary. You can withdraw marketing text consent at any time by replying STOP (or another supported opt-out instruction), replying HELP for help, or contacting us. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Revoking marketing consent does not stop necessary service, security, billing, or legal messages.
We keep reasonable records of communication preferences and consent. A phone number submitted in a support form is used to respond to the request; submitting a number by itself is not a subscription to marketing texts.
6. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No website, cloud platform, email, text message, or remote-support connection is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and applicable exemptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information; to opt out of targeted advertising or a sale of personal information; and to appeal a decision about a privacy request. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To make a request, email greenturtletechnologies@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and describe the information or action you are requesting. We may need to verify your identity and may deny or limit a request when permitted by law. If applicable law gives you an appeal right, we will explain how to appeal in our response.
Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, subject to its scope and exemptions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
8. Children
Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
9. Third-party websites and services
Our website may link to Stripe checkout, the Member Portal, Microsoft services, social platforms, or other third-party websites. Their privacy practices and terms govern information they collect directly. Review their notices before submitting information. We are not responsible for third-party content, security, or privacy practices.
10. Policy updates and contact
We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the website or another reasonable channel when appropriate.
